In an effort to honor & preserve the beautiful trees that Crestwood is known for, we are starting the Crestwood Tree of the Year Program.

Any dues-paying member of the neighborhood association can nominate any tree in the neighborhood.

To be considered for Tree of the Year, the tree must benefit the street. Meaning the base of its trunk must be visible from the street, and its shade must touch the street at some point during the day.

It doesn’t have to be the tallest, widest, thickest, or oldest tree in the neighborhood. It just has to be unique in some way.

Nominations must be submitted before 11:59pm on December 31st.

Voting will began at the Crestwood Neighborhood Association’s January meeting.

In the spring we will hold a ceremony to honor the winning tree with a plaque marking it as the Crestwood Tree of the Year.
